The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas such as Dining Room, Restrooms and other areas. 

 

Responsibilities
  • Tasks will involve washing dishes, stock work, clean-up, setting-up, busing tables, prep work, equipment maintenance
     

Job Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible
  • Be able to communicate with co-workers and/or customers
  • No experience is required
  • Be able to write, read and utilize math skills

Responsible for completing all assigned prep work and setting up cook's and dish stations. Will maintain product presentations, product quality and cook time standards. Prepare all menu items according to Aunt Gussie's specifications. Must adhere to company standards of the restaurant cleanliness and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper supply and quality of food products and dishware to cook’s line. Complete daily prep and pars: cook or bake items needed for day’s use; prepare batters and sauces.
  • Select, wash/clean and prepare all greens, vegetables and fruits. Slice, dice and cut food.
  • Clean/organize storage locations of all products. Properly label, date, initial and rotate products
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Follow instructions of Manager on Duty or designated supervisor.
Efficient time management.
  • Be at work on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly attitude. TEAMWORK is essential.
  • Follow & comply with Aunt Gussie's Standards of Service (including, but not limited to; speed, accuracy & productivity.)
  • Follow Safety and Sanitation procedures.
  • Take an active role in controlling food waste. Ensure proper food handling procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment after each use; follow proper safety and sanitation procedures. Practice clean-as-you-go theory and complete assigned daily cleaning duties.

The busser is an position that provides important support to restaurant staff while offering fundamental training and experience to the employee. The busser adds to guests’ dining experience by properly setting tables, coffee and water service, clearing courses, cleaning and responding to the needs of guests and servers. The Busser will work as a team with the server to ensure the best experience possible. The busser will also assist the dishwasher with tasks such as; putting away dishes and sorting cutlery.

Host/Hostess
A Host greets and facilitates the guest experience by scheduling reservations, organizing server sections and maintaining an efficient customer flow. The Host is responsible for communicating feedback from customers and informing staff of menu or operational changes.
